Why and How do foreigners come to Australia?
What do I know......
What I want to know......
What I learned.......
Foreigners can arrive in Australia two different ways.
First way is legal which is via a airplane. The second
way can be illegal, which is via boat. Commonly known
as 'the boat people'.
Why do foreigners travel to Australia instead
of traveling to a different country?
According to an article titled,Why Should You consider Australian Immigration (2008)
gives 8 reasons why.

1. Australian Health System
2. Bright blue skies and sunshine
3. Multicultural society
4. Most Australians follow Christianity
5. Crime rate is lower than most
6. Doesn't have a class or caste system
7. Standard of education in Australia is high
8. Escape an overcrowded country, wanting more space and nature

SWOT Analaysis

What affect does Immigration have on Australians?
Strengths:
Weakness:
Many foreigners that come into Australia come from
a place where they learned many tricks and trades having
a diverse range of skills from wood building to metal to farming.
In some classes, foreigners that come into Australia might not
have skills or offer any work skills that will allow them to get a job.
In order for these people to survive they would need to receive government help
which can cause more debt.
Opportunities:
Threats:
Having more people enter the country can create two things.
First more jobs and second more money.
Australians might take advantage of these people in the work force and give them the
job instead of someone else because they might be able to pay them less then the other
person.
